WHAT ITEMS CAN I SEND?

At Book Baggage you can send all basic standard travel items like clothing, shoes, books and other items which do not require additional packaging when placed in a suitcase or sturdy double walled cardboard box. If you choose to send non-standard excess baggage items you must ensure the items are packaged thoroughly and appropriately for transportation. Your suitcase or box may be stacked with other items and will move on automated belts and slide down sorting chutes. For this reason, we are also unable to accept single walled cardboard boxes, plastic boxes, plastic bags, laundry bags, bin liners or similar items.
There is many items which are completely prohibited on all services such as aerosols, flammable liquids, and loose batteries. Certain items such as lithium batteries contained in small electronic devices.
You can send toiletries however provided it is not flammable as your suitcase or box may be stacked with other items and will move on automated belts and slide down sorting chutes. And it may affect or damage you valuable items packed along with it so it is advice not to send any spill able items

PREPARING YOUR ITEMS

If you are sending any general travel items such as clothes, shoes and any unbreakable items in a suitcase or trolley bag then you don’t need to worry as we at Book Baggage take good care of your luggage as we will provide luggage covers for all your travel bags
Yes! You can send boxes or any other packaging provided there are sturdy double walled cardboard box and ensure they are packed well as your suitcase or box may be stacked with other items and will move on automated belts and slide down sorting chutes. And it may affect or damage your valuable items packed along with it so it is advisable not to send any spillable items as well.
It is mandatory to provide a list of items along with delectation sheet stating that you don’t have any valuable items such as precious ornaments like gold, silver, gems stones, electronic items.
We recommend you secure your bag with a cable tie (where you would normally place a padlock), as a cable tie can be cut away without damaging the bag if your luggage needs to be inspected.
Padlocked bags will be accepted by our book baggage staff.
Please do not use exterior pockets unless they can also be secured with a cable tie; all contents should be sealed within the main bag.
At Book Baggage we strongly recommend that the items that are packed are not valuable such as jewelleries, cash etc. Valuable items should be carried with personal belonging. Some basic insurance is covered by book baggage. Insurance cover

PLACING AN ORDER

Anybody can use Book Baggage’s services, someone who wishes to save on time and avoid the hassle of carrying the language or transporting your luggage through local transport from your home to the railway station during your journeys can use our services.
Book Baggage helps you to focus on your other aspects of your travel plans while we take care of your baggage. Even if you are on a business trip or a family holiday focusing on your work and you family is equally important as your journey.
We at Book Baggage help you to move your baggage from one destination to the other at the minimum cost however the cost will differ depending on your location/weight, you can call us
Your baggage will reach your destination as soon as you reach the destination station.

PAYMENTS

We accept all leading credit and debit card such as Master, Visa, Amex and Maestro. We also accept direct app payments like Paytm, Mobikwik, Jio Payment Wallet, and Google Pay
No we do not accept cash payment as we do have multiple payments options.

ORDER PICK-UP

Book Baggage provides a complete door to door service, so you don’t need to worry about taking your bags to the railway station.
At Book Baggage we provide you with a complete solution and hassle free transaction, so if you are not able to hand over your luggage to our Baggage Marshal someone else who is recommended by you can also handover the baggage to our baggage marshal.
The time of collection depends on what time slot you select while placing your order as all orders needs to be booked before 24 hrs. of your travel time.

TRACKING

Yes! All your luggage/box is completely tractable, your luggage can be tracked as soon as he baggage buddy loads your luggage on to the vehicle therefore you can have a live tracking of your luggage.
If for any reason you baggage contains any items which are prohibited by the airline it will reflect as hold, there it is important to declare all items before sending your baggage’s.

DELIVERY

At Book Baggage, we are proud to say that we provide you a complete hassle free service of your baggage which means we will pick your baggage from you doorstep and deliver at you desired drop address which means we provide you a door to door services.
We deliver to any desired address of your choice for example if you are traveling from one city to another, we can also deliver to your hotel address.
If for any reason you are not available at your delivery address we can hand over you baggage to anyone who you have authorize to receive your baggage provided he/she should provide our baggage marshal with the OTP.
If nobody is at the delivery address to receive your baggage then we will deliver you baggage for a second attempt, even after the second attempt if nobody is available then you would have to come to our sorting station and pick your baggage by yourself.

ACCOUNT ACCESS

If you are not able to login to your account, please check your internet connection if the internet connection is good then check your login details user/password should be correct.
If in case you need to book an order and our app is not working please check if you have downloaded the correct application, if the application is correctly downloaded then check if you have receive any message which “says we are currently servicing your area” if yes then you we will inform you once we start servicing your area, if no then you can call our customer service team and book you order on call
